The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN)
TCPN is a national governmental purchasing cooperative. TCPN competitively bid and award contracts to national vendors in accordance with purchasing procedures mandated by state procurement laws and regulations. TCPN contracts are available for use and benefit all entities that must comply with state purchasing laws (public and private schools, colleges and universities, cities, counties, non-profits, and all governmental entities). Contracts are awarded based on quality, proven performance, and pricing.
Texas Retailers Association (TRA)
TRA is an organization dedicated to promoting the interests of more than 1,500 companies and corporations, operating thousands of stores and employing more than 500,000 Texans in the retail industry. Membership ranges from the independent proprietor to the large multi-national corporation. Department stores, specialty shops, drugstores, grocery chains, discount chains, hardware stores, jewelry shops — all are members of the Texas Retailers Association.
In September 2007, the TRA presented Amerex's CETX division with its prestigious "Supplier of the Year" award in recognition of CETX's outstanding service and dedication to providing electricity advisory and related services to its members since 2002.
